HOW TO ENROL with us:

All enrolment applications are managed by the Boroondara Kindergarten Central Registrations (BKCR).

Submit an expression of interest for your child from birth

We encourage families to express interest in attending kindergarten from birth. This enables you to receive important updates from Boroondara Central Registrations, including information about when to register and attend open days.  You can express your interest here.

Register your child for kindergarten

Register your child for kindergarten:

• any time, to attend kindergarten this year (2024)

• between 1 May and 30 June 2024 to attend next year (2025).  If you’ve already expressed interest, you don’t need to do anything further – Boroondara Central Registrations will email you a link to register on 1 May.

Registrations to attend next year in 2025 open on 1 May and close on 30 June 2024

The date you register does not affect how Boroondara Central Registrations allocate places, as long as it’s done by 30 June in the year before your child attends. If you register after 30 June, we can’t guarantee that your application will be included in the first round of offers.

Please note if your child is attending first year kindergarten at FAK they still need to be enrolled for second year kindergarten at FAK in your Council preferences to secure a place for the following year.

Registrations open 1 May to 30 June each year for attendance the following year.

The deadline for changing your preferences for 2025 is at the end of term 2 in 2024 (30 June 2024).  The Council and the Committee of Management will communicate what you need to do and when.

On Friday 26 July 2024, first round offers will be received by parents via an email with either a unique link to access their offer or advice that they have been placed on the wait list.
